This will depend on how busy you are, how much time you have to train, your child’s personality, how old your child is, etc. Book a FREE 15-minute consultation now, so I can help you find the right package for your child!
This takes a little more time to plan out (remember, it's double trouble). Just add the twin option to your cart along with your chosen package (+75.00)
Some babies and toddlers catch on quicker than others, and honestly, it mostly depends on how consistent parents are with the training method. If you follow the sleep plan and adhere to all recommendations, your child will usually catch on by the first week. Again, it also depends on the age of your child and their personality.
The short answer is NO. Keep in mind I will be giving you a sample daily schedule. As children thrive off of schedules and routines this will directly have an impact on nighttime sleep. As long as you try to stick to it as much as you can, you should be able to carry on with your daily lives. Once sleep trained, it will be easier to deviate from the schedule more.
100% consistency and follow through is imperative for the plan to be successful. If you are following the sleep plan, schedules, and advice given, IT WILL WORK. There may be nights of regression during the training process even after a few good consecutive nights and that is completely normal. Stay consistent and your child will be sleeping through the night in no time.
There will be some degree of crying with every method. After all, they are babies and they are trying to break bad sleeping habits, and what once made them feel comfortable and feeling safe is probably being taken away from them. They are learning a NEW strategy to go to sleep, and they may not like that change at first, so they are going to let you know that by crying. Trust me, it's WAY harder for you than for them. The first few nights are usually rough, and then it will get easier. You will be thanking yourself when you get a full night's sleep!
We will discuss what you require after your sleep plan has been written (video monitor, sound machines, night light equipped with programs/Hatch Sound machine, etc).
4 months (or 12 lbs) to 4 years old. Newborns won’t develop their circadian rhythm until after 3 months old, which is why we don’t sleep train them. They also aren’t able to go through the night without feeding and are unable to stick to a schedule due to not knowing day from night. The first few months, baby, and mom should work on bonding and getting to know each other. I offer a New Mommy Package that is full of educational information and resources which also includes a promo code that will apply toward a sleep package for when you are actually ready to sleep train.
